As I said before, I feel very awkward when there are no other spectators. For cross country I ended up standing around the awards ceremony, the teams started filling in around me. I didn't know anyone and I felt like a creep. Why? I know they appreciate the fans, but I don't really feel like a fan. I can't even bring myself to congratulate the teams. I am socially awkward.
OK, are you ready for my means around the awkwardness. I will now be covering sporting events for the Michigan Daily. I have to shadow another reporter at the volleyball match which means I will have to miss the hockey game. However, on Monday, I head off to my first assignment, the cross country nationals in Terre Huate Indiana. W00t! I will be missing class for it. I don't care.
