The upcoming weekend

Its late and I am tired

I told people I would be attending the soccer game on Friday. So, I guess I will. Back in high school I was weird and shameless. I was the ballboy for the girl's soccer team. I never missed a game my senior year. Looking back that was probably a bad thing. Whatever, it got me out and active on many a spring day. Also, I supported my school. So what if I was viewed as creepy. Actually, I just a wrote a weblog entry on the aforementioned behavior. Anyway, I like women's soccer. I think I like it more than men's soccer, maybe because, it is viewed as such a  feminine sport here in the states. That's right. In other countries female soccer players are viewed as overly masculine, while here they are viewed as the peak of the female athlete. I will write more on this later. However, when it comes down to it. I like women's soccer because the competition lever is usually very intense and the ladies demonstrate a lot of athletic prowess. I will take a trip down memory lane, while supporting my team on Friday.

In other news I may see "Moneyball" this weekend. I am totally looking forward to it, because even as a kid I knew that baseball statistics were misleading. I am glad that there is a strong financial incentive for people to improve how they keep them. Let's face it. That is the only reason why people change.

Finally, they just announced a few games on the Michigan Lacross schedule. It looks like on October 2nd we will have some kind of match against Concordia Wisconsin. This is important to me because my dad just started a faculty position there. It is important to show him my school is better.
